Tom Hayden / Digital communications portfolio
Our power is people.
Make it easier to activate members. Give useful information a clear home, connect it to the people who need it, and make the next step fit their lives.
The work behind the idea
USA and NSO member experiences; NJEA information systems and reusable resources; community-service websites; published union writing and email reporting. Specific project responsibilities, collaborators and verified outcomes are being completed in the case studies.
The next chapter
Find: plain-language, source-linked discovery. Know: appropriate local, field and county views. Reach: member-controlled relevance across channels. Act: a clear route to a resource, event or person.
The first 180 days
Listen and inventory. Watch real tasks. Agree the evidence. Build a small pilot. Learn with locals. Choose the next chapter. Work with Communications, IS, Membership and subject-matter owners throughout.
The foundation to preserve
Strong content, local identity, staff expertise, established relationships and WordPress publishing. New technology should enhance that foundation through thoughtful, measurable decisions.
